Connecting a Sony a7s to Kstar/Ekos

I've been trying to get my Sony a7s connected to Kstar for several hours with no luck at all. It simply does not establish a connection to my camera. I tested the Sony DSLR driver as well as the gphoto ccd driver. I'm using a Macbook air M1 and have the camera connected with an USB cabel (local)

When I run the gphoto2 --auto-detect command in the terminal it returns:
Sony Alpha-A7S (Control)       usb:001,001

In Kstar the Sony DSLR driver returns:

The GPhoto CCD driver returns

Does anyone use a Sony camera with Kstar?
