Things you should try. (Long read)
Do supplies. Each base is dry of supplies we all know that now but that’s not why I tell you to try it. You get to experience the game in a different way. You get so learn the map much faster, learn which roads are valuable to you and the enemy, knowing this can help you in the future, you’ll be able to set up road blocks, mines and ambushes. You’ll also find yourself looking at the map more, you’ll notice which bases need supplies, which bases the enemy is attacking and needs support. You as the supply runner can be the one to set a base up for a potential attack to win the game.
Become a sniper. Even if that’s not your play style you should try it for a few games. You’ll notice you’re not just running straight towards death road but you’ll find yourself looking for any advantage you can get. You’ll travel through forests and use terrain and high grounds. As a sniper you’re only equipped with.. well a sniper and hopefully a pistol. (If you’re running with another main gun you’re the reason the team could be losing and you’ll be too slow) you’ll see you’re a lot more vulnerable. You’ll know how to move, when to switch positions and know when it’s time to retreat.
Communication. This game has given us EVERYTHING in order to have effective communication which unfortunately the players don’t use. This is a team game. You don’t need to speak on platoon chat. Just bare minimum, let me know what point you’re driving to or at the least let me know there’s an enemy behind that house or in that bush. Getting to know your teammates makes the game a lot more fun too. Running with some randoms you just got to know makes any team fight a lot more intense, you’ll be more likely to give medical aid to your new friends and you’ll be a bit devastated when you look around to see half of you have died in battle.
Foglights? Yea those 120supply lights aren’t actually that useless. Stop lighting up the base however, you’re just exposing us to the enemy. That’s when I thought of this genius idea, flip those lights around and light up the surroundings of the base. It’s impossible to aim at a bright light shining your direction so the enemy is completely blinded. You’ve also now lighten them up, any bush or dark area they try to hide in is now gone.
Use your brain. This isn’t call of duty. Please stop having insane loadouts and hoping into a freshly spawned in jeep to go down to Montignac and die on the same road for the 4th time. Use a bit of strategy to win it’s a lot more fun i promise. A well coordinated attack by you is more exciting than you trying to run toward a town full of enemies. Even the AI in this game are brutal.
Why do Americans always lose? Genuine question.
