The most powerful tool is the compass

I use it not only to navigate but to determine where incoming gunfire is coming from. If you hear shots, open the compass and try facing where it's coming from. Call out to your teammates the direction.

Imagine how much more difficult the game would be without maps and compasses 😂 Sometimes I still get a bit lost during long drives and I miss a dirt road or landmark. If you aren't acclimated to reorienting then getting around is going to be tough at first.

I think this is the most crucial skill in the game. Not shooting, not driving, not call-outs, but navigation. The island is massive and there's so much shit going on all at once. Take the time to learn to navigate and you'll enjoy the game so much better.

Matches can move pretty quickly. If you aren't constantly checking to see what's been captured you could waste 10 minutes driving in the wrong direction. Or get left behind completely with a squad that doesn't communicate 😂 And then you are in a world of shit.
