Disappointed at AF UPTC(full in body text)

Very Disappointed at Anytime Fitness UP Town Center

Today (Feb 19,2025 8:30pm) I was stretching with my brother in the activity/dance area of AF UPTC. A staff/coach of AF UPTC approached us and asked me to stop training my brother.

He said verbatim "sir bawal po personal training dito, It is very unethical and rude to inhouse trainers nasa contract po yan sa gym ethics"

I replied, "Kapatid ko yan at di ako nagpapabayad"

He said "kapatid mo talaga yan? kahit na, madalas ko na rin po kayo nakikita nagtetraining ng ibang tao. (Edit:) May bayad o wala, mali na nagtuturo ka dito"

I replied "Una sir kakabalik ko lang 2 weeks ago nainjure ako for 2 and a half months(since december 5). Ano sinasabi mo? marami lang po akong kaibigan dito kasi taga dito ako sa malapit. At saka kung nagtuturo man ako sa kapatid ko, di ako nagpapabayad"

"Hindi sir. sinasabihan lang kita. Yan kasi nakasulat sa contract natin. May comments pa ba kayo or violent reactions? Malinaw ba sir?"

Anytime Fitness UP Town Center Katipunan I read the Terms and Conditions. Like I said I do not personally train anyone i just lift with them, they are friends and family. Nor do I personally train anyone for money.

Please Read number 10 of Terms and Condition of the AF membership form.

I have not engaged in any business transaction with my friends and family for me to gym with them/train/teach them.

(Additional info: I got my brother an AF membership only a few days ago. I PAY FOR MY BROTHERS MEMBERSHIP He does not PAY me for teaching him anything

Yes, my fb says i used to be an ACE CPT. But!!!! I have not COMMERCIALLY PERSONALLY TRAINED anyone in more than 7 years.

I do NOT NEED to do "freelance" personal training to get money lol 😅 Lets just say i am part of 2 companies and I dont need to compete with AF trainers and steal their personal training clients. :)

And IF they do decide to cancel my membership, i wont go down without a fight :))
