Is my Puerto Rican side predominately European?

I've been researching my Puerto Rican family history and trying to figure out if my Puerto Rican side would be considered mainly white. From what l've found in birth, census, marriage, and death records, many of my ancestors were listed as white. My great-grandfather was recorded as white multiple times, and on his first marriage record, he listed his mother (who had already passed) as white. My great-grandmother was also listed as white on her birth and death records, and her mother and that side of family parents and all 4 grandparents were documented as white as well.

In terms of DNA, my own results on ancestrydna show about 8% Iberian, 5% African, 3% native, 1% Egypt- while my uncle (who is half Puerto Rican) has 27.8% Iberian, along with some African (14.4%) and Indigenous (9.2%) and Middle East (0.8%) ancestry on myheritage results.

I know genetics are so random and looks don't matter all to much but just to give a better understanding- my great grandfather was pale with blue eyes and dark hair and very tall, he could definitely pass as a person who's mixed. My great grandmother was white and features that came off looking very European. I am not fully sure but I do know I've seen family from the Puerto Rican side and I believe I saw a photo of her mother and cousin and they were white look straight up southern or even Central European if I didn't know.

Given all of this, would my Puerto Rican side be considered predominantly white? Does it seem they were mainly of European background and that's why listed themselves as white? I know race in Puerto Rico can be complicated, so l'd love to hear different perspectives.
