When’s a good time to apply to colleges?

I’m a junior in high school and I was curious about what’s a good time to apply to colleges? I’m half way through this school year and I’m planning on taking the SAT pretty soon so I’m just curious on when is a good time to apply so I’m not procrastinating my senior year. :)
