my full breakup theory!!!
my theory is that the break up is, in fact, real despite the fishy timing. let me explain why:
they aren’t really into eachother. i think that emily was obviously not invested emotionally for two reasons: 1) her partner has JUST passed away & she was looking for an outlet & stumbled upon amber 2) feeders are rarely emotionally attached to their feedee & only see them as a sexual gratification source. & i also DONT think amber was ever really into emily… like at all… thinking back to the way she gushed over jade & destiny in particular, we saw NONE of that with emily. amber was dead set on making herself appear desirable to her audience. this is why she was so keen on dispelling any feederism allegations: they would ruin her story of emily being attracted to her personality (something she beat into the ground “she loves ME, my heart, etc). this is why she constantly mentioned all that emily did for her (whether true or not who cares) because it was to show the audience that emily couldn’t JUST be into her for her body if she was willing to do these things for her. they also had ZEROOOOOO chemistry like at all.
the struggle for control. the whole concept of feederism is about dominance & control over another person, down to needing help for basic human functions. feeders need someone who is a doormat & will bend & change directions at the snap of their fingers. & on the contrary, amber is a control freak. she NEEDS to be able to control the narritive around herself at all costs, this is why she throws a tantrum around reaction channels: she’s out of the writers room. amber needs someone who will serve her, just as any narc wants & that’s why she was with beck for so long, because she had managed to dismantle their self confidence to an all time low & keep them dependent on her.
the libby situation. whether or not emily is a good parent remains unclear but one thing is for certain, she has a child. & people are speculating that this breakup is a ruse intended to throw people off the libby situation but honestly i think it was the catalyst. emily has a child, a daughter, & i think any indication that her partner who she’s already at her wits end with is a predator… yeah.. pass.
the community. the community tore emily’s history to shreds, she was exposed, root & stem. but emily was thrown to the wolves by amber & her narrative, think of how many times amber spoke on behalf of emily… every time. (control freak) this allowed amber to wreck emily’s reputation (not saying she didn’t deserve it). by stating that emily & colleen engaged in feederism content for money, the revelation of all the excess evidence proving otherwise shatters emily’s reputation as well as ambers (but amber has nothing to lose). note: i think feederism is wrong but i don’t think emily is a death feeder, i think she just has a gross fetish for extremely overweight women, which is heinous & destructive in its own right but death feeder is a label to large for me to place it on her, even with colleen dying in a relationship w emily (colleen’s brother said colleen was headed towards the end regardless of emily’s “contribution”)
emily’s reaction, emily (imo) has always been pretty honest with the community. everytime emily has been locked into a lie, it was of ambers creation. thinking back to when she said that they broke up because of erica being in the picture (something amber didn’t admit), & all of her statements otherwise except the ONE time she denied being a feeder (girl-). & i don’t think control freak amber would allow emily to say that amber was threatening her, because this would go against amber “benevolent & bubbly” persona she deludes herself into thinking she is.
wisconsin. amber 10000% overstayed her welcome in wisconsin & showed up to emily’s front door with half her house. they totally fought constantly & THIS is why amber was so down in the dumps during this time & why emily was never in the vlogs. amber totally intended to move in but emily denied her so amber went on a pouting strike. otherwise why would she book with a wisconsin based therapist? she’s dumb but come ON! also, (hot take) think amber let rarity out on purpose as a last ditch effort to stay in wisconsin. i believe this for a few reasons: 1) i think billie was meant to be the grand crescendo of the wisconsin trip & rarity went missing THAT night or the next morning, 2) amber’s way of talking about & treating rarity afterwards: blaming the cat for being overly adventurous(tf?), phone on silent during an active search, no PROOF of her walking around looking for her, & MOST IMPORTANTLY & DAMNING: her saying she “believed in her heart rarity is safe” RED FUCKING FLAG!! this is textbook narc behavior, she KNOWS she let the cat out so she’s trying to convince herself that the cat is okay to soothe the shred of guilt she feels about the cats wellbeing, because she’s deluded but believing an un-chipped, collarless house cat is managing to live through a wisco winter..? diva.. & finally 3) beck said that amber contemplated giving her rarity during the move to OK, so rarity was clearly first on the chopping block. & amber said that emily BEGGED her to stay? then why did you go back just before the holidays AND your birthday? someone who is the self-proclaimed anxious attachment queen? i don’t buy it for a second. & emily posting a pic of the plane? seemed odd if she was so devastated to watch amber go..
real life consequences for emily were making the exchange not worth it. i think amber was a shitty rebound for emily & it ended up costing her a full, in detail, public analysis of all of her dirty laundry. which in turn potentially cost her her job (& all potential jobs), a healthy co-parenting realtionship, public opinion & probably so much more. bunking up with ms. reid 1000% was a humiliation ritual for the books. i don’t think she’s a masochist, i don’t think she intended all this to come to light. because the feederism community is so niche & a dirty fetish operating in the dark corners of the internet, i think she goes for famous fatties for feeder clout. because how big is the lesbian feederism community, really? i think she shot for the moon & landed amber but didnt think the community would tear her apart because we hadn’t with other exes (they’re more so seen as martyrs). i think she wanted her face next to ambers to score some feeder points but ended up getting completely exposed.
